Sony retracts Demon's Souls remake trailer, says PC mention was 'man error'

Update: After publishing a trailer for Fiend's Souls today that included the disavowal "Likewise available on PC," Sony has placed that trailer to private and stated that the end slated, pictured supra, was an error. "The incorrect schoolbook was a result of human misplay," a Sony representative told Personal computer Gamer. The representative stated that Daemon's Souls is "exclusive to PlayStation 5."

When pressed on whether Demon's Souls is really a lifetime exclusive to the console or a timed exclusive like-minded Decease Stranding, Sony declined to expand further, reiterating "Daemon's Souls is exclusive to PlayStation 5."

In August, not long after porting Visible horizon Zero Dawn to PC, a Sony material report stated that the company "will explore expanding [its] 1st party titles to the PC platform." Demon's Souls seems same an ideal place to start.

Original account infra.

Original story: You'Re going away to want to see the latest Fiend's Souls gameplay drone from today's PlayStation 5 event on YouTube, because tucked away at the very last is a resplendent substance appended in tiny, petite text.

"Also available on PC."

While Bluepoint's beautiful-sounding remake is not From Software's original version of the gimpy (which you can emulate to near perfection on PC anyway), the Personal computer is last getting one more missing Souls game, and the one that kicked it all off, too.

Sony's web log confirms Demon's Souls is a launch brave for the PlayStation 5, but presumably the PC port will embody climax by and by. Also noteworthy that it's going to cost $69.99 on the console, which seems likely to be the new full-price standard for adjacent-gen games.

If you're trying to avoid spoilers, I'd skip the house trailer since it shows off a net ton of the biggest bosses, but here's what we can grift from the show overall: This Monster's Souls is non just a one-to-one remake. Bosses take up new attacks and some areas and enemies admit both big artistic departures from the originals.

Either mode, I love me a good adjustment. Bluepoint Games lay out out an excellent remake of Shadow of the Colossus a few years back, sol I'm jazzed to see what it does with Demon's Souls. On PC. Ultrawide. RTX on.

Phew, it feels good to say that. Hey, Sony, Bloodborne future, yeah?
